THE APPLICATION OF STRUCTURALISM THEORY ON PRATCHETT’S THE AMAZING MAURICE AND HIS EDUCATED RODENTS Introduction In analysing any literary works, structuralism is one of the linguistics theories that is often used by the readers. The structuralism theory has been applied actively in all field theories of sociology, anthropology, linguistics, and literature for years. The theory of structuralism was introduced by Ferdinand de Saussure who was known as “father of modern linguistics” in the first half of the twentieth century.
